What goes into an attractive, functional office space? As the tools used to do business change, the office environment changes as well. How can a company use interior design to project its core business image while supporting day-to-day functions?
These are questions considered daily by the staff of AAi, a full-service interior design and architecture firm located in Hacienda.
AAi (formerly named Ambiance Associates, Inc.) works closely with their clients and the follow-through required with commercial brokers, general contractors, and the city approval process.
AAi understands the importance of good interior architectural design. "A well-designed workplace enhances more than your company's image," says Randy Golden, the design director of the Pleasanton office. "It provides competitive advantages that contribute to profitability including increased productivity, more efficient technology infrastructures and enhanced ability to recruit and retain quality employees."
The firm offers a variety of services ranging from planning and architectural design to contract administration and interior design. Their Hacienda office houses a large library of finish samples, furniture and lighting catalogs, and anything else needed to carry a project through from initial feasibility studies through design development to final implementation.
AAi was founded in Silicon Valley over 21 years ago and maintains an office in San Jose. They employ 24 design professionals in both the San Jose and Pleasanton locations. The company has had offices in Pleasanton for the past 17 years.
Golden, a licensed architect and interior designer with over 20 years of experience, notes that the most successful design projects begin with a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding.
"We know that a successful result can only be achieved through a focused, collaborative effort between the design team and client," he says. "By carefully gathering information about the client's current and future needs, we are better able to understand their challenges and meet their goals."
AAi has helped numerous companies in Hacienda and Tri-Valley area with design services for expansion and relocation of their companies. AAi's long-standing commitment to excellence has rewarded the company with an impressive client list including Hacienda's CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, Insignia/ESG, CB Richard Ellis, Fireside Financial Services, Brightstar Information Technology Group, The Zenith, Harsh Development and ValleyCare Medical Center.
The firm's first clients were Prudential and CPS Real Estate, the developers of Hacienda.
AAi's Pleasanton office is located at 5994 W. Las Positas Boulevard, suite 201. Their phone number is (925) 463-3070.
