Code Ninjas Offers Fun, Flexible Coding Classes

A new Hacienda tenant offers a fun and flexible coding education for children aged seven to 14. At Code Ninjas, students learn to code at their own pace through an engaging, game-based curriculum. The company prides itself on partnering with entrepreneurs to bring 21st century learning centers to communities across the country and partnering with families to provide children with a safe and encouraging environment to gain the skills they need for a brighter future.

"Kids love technology, games, and having fun with friends," says Alison Tran, Center Director. "Parents want to give their kids the best and brightest future possible. Everyone wins at Code Ninjas. Kids learn to code through our engaging game-based curriculum that teaches teamwork, logic, math, and problem solving. They gain vital skills while having a blast."

According to the company, Code Ninjas is a solution to a problem faced by many families. Students in the US are falling behind the rest of the world in science, technology, engineering, and math subjects. Schools do not have the time or resources to meet demand for quality coding education. Existing after-school programs sometimes fail to engage students, while existing online materials are often too hard to understand. Parents want their children to be social but frequently find their children devoting hours to screen time at home, which is a solitary exercise.

Code Ninjas provides a place where gaming is celebrated by allowing students to create their own video games after learning coding, math, logic, and problem solving. The high-quality continuous curriculum allows students to grow and learn, no matter where they start, and build their favorite games as part of the curriculum. Students learn in a social setting with like-minded peers, making amazing progress in just a few visits per week. Whether or not they pursue coding as a career, Code Ninjas provides students with skills that will help them pursue their dreams.

Code Ninjas is open from Monday through Friday between noon and 7:30 pm. On weekends, it is open from 9 am to 2 pm. In addition to the core program, Code Ninjas also offers a special Parent's Night Out.

"Parents deserve a night on the town," says Tran. "Meanwhile, their kids want to play and have fun. That's why we offer Parent's Night Out, a win-win evening for families. Parents drop off their kids at Code Ninjas, where they will play games, assemble puzzles, build robotics, and more."

Learning how to think and problem solve is where the real value of Code Ninjas lives, according to the company. Every child deserves the chance to unlock their innate, unlimited capacity to learn. But Code Ninjas is not only about teaching children to be problem solvers. For franchise owners, Code Ninjas gives them a meaningful career path that positively impacts their communities.

"We are a part of the fastest growing franchise in North America," says Tran, who notes that Code Ninjas opened at Hacienda because it is "an amazing location with plenty of families that would benefit from our program." The Hacienda location has ten employees currently, a number expected to grow.
