The Livermore/Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), operator of WHEELS, is seeking comment on their operations and input into their Short Range Transportation Plan. This is your opportunity to give feedback directly to WHEELS, express interest in new routing, offer your critique of the system or compliment the things you appreciate.

Comment Period

As part of their planning process, LAVTA prepares a Short Range Transit Plan to evaluate system productivity and overall performance. Members of the public are invited to give comment. All comments are needed by Wednesday, September 15, 1999 on the current plan. The Association can also forward comments to WHEELS on your behalf as part of our review. Copies of the draft Short Range Transit Plan may be viewed at area libraries or at the LAVTA offices (see below).

Public Forums

Three public meetings will be held to review the draft Short Range Transit Plan. All meetings are accessible using WHEELS buses. Contact WHEELS, (925) 455-7500, for bus routes and schedules.
