SPARE THE AIR MID-YEAR REPORT

The Hacienda Owners Association is a proud supporter of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District's 1999 Spare the Air program. This important advisory alerts Bay Area residents about those days where their efforts to reduce air pollution can make a substantial difference in regional air quality.

Mid-Term Report

We are half-way through the Spare the Air season with minimal exceedances of state and federal air quality standards. However, the months of August and September are usually the most challenging due to warm weather that contributes to high ozone levels. Your continued participation and assistance in Spare the Air efforts are appreciated.

Spare the Air Prizes and Events

To celebrate mid-term accomplishments, Spare the Air will be holding a drawing on Monday, August 16 for six fabulous prizes. To make sure you and your employees are included in the drawing, get signed up for e-mail notification at www.esurvey.com/sparetheair/registration.html. You must sign up by Friday, August 13 to be eligible to win.

Prizes include:

  • Oakland A's Field Seats with an on-field visit

  • Adobe Software package of your choice

  • A gift basket from Global Exchange

  • Copies of One Digital Day coffee table book
