The East Bay's Economic Development Alliance for Business (EDAB) has announced the inauguration of a new economic information service. The service is aimed at helping local decision makers, businesses and others interested in timely information about the economic environment in the East Bay, the "Leading Edge of Silicon Valley."
In conjunction with the Anderson Forecast service, EDAB will produce:
a monthly snapshot of key East Bay indicators
a quarterly, forward looking analysis of the East Bay's economic health
and an annual forecast report.
The analysis is aimed at providing residents, community leaders and businesses a clear understanding of where the economy is and where it is going. The forecast is designed to be a valuable tool for both current residents and businesses as well as those considering a Bay Area location. To register for this free information, simply sign up at: www.edab.org/Newsletter.html.
Each month EDAB, in conjunction with the Anderson Forecast service, will prepare an email newsletter on the East Bay economy. The monthly newsletter will also include information about the Bay Area, the State and the nation. Each quarter, a longer report will be issued. The quarterly reports will contain information on economic trends and policy issues, a snapshot of the current status of the East Bay economy, an outlook for conditions over the next six months, and comparisons to other regions of the state and world. In addition, the annual in-depth report on the East Bay's Economic Indicators will continue to be prepared and will be available in hardcopy as well as on the EDAB web site at www.edab.org.
