Child Care Links is now accepting nominations for the "Family Friendly Employer of the Year" award. This award is a way to publicly recognize and thank employers located in Pleasanton, Dublin and Livermore who support employees as they balance work/family responsibilities and who are committed to strengthening and supporting working families.

Nominate Your Employer to Receive this Honor

To be eligible, employers must be located in Pleasanton, Dublin or Livermore. Employer size and/or financial commitment are not considerations. A nomination form and detailed guidelines may be obtained at: www.childcarelinks.org/employer/forms/FF_Nom_Form.pdf or by using the Child Care Links contact below. The following criteria will be used to select the Family Friendly Employer of the Year:

• Recognizes the dual responsibilities that employees have to their families and their jobs, and offers strong support to help employees balance those responsibilities.

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to employees by offering benefits and/or policies that support and strengthen working families. These may include, but are not limited to: Dependent Care Assistance Programs (DCAP), job protected family leave, flexible/part time job sharing options with benefits and advancement opportunities, resource and referral services, parent/family education program, financial assistance with child care costs, and employer sponsored child care program.

• Supports or sponsors community programs that benefit children and working families.
