The Tri-Valley Business Council will be sponsoring a series of Innovators Forums beginning in May to help people understand the wide range of innovation that is going on within the Tri-Valley and its impact on our regional economy. The Tri-Valley Business Council's mission is to represent the private sector in regional issues that impact economic vitality and the quality of life within the Tri-Valley.
The forums are a result of the Tri-Valley Business Council's Preserving Prosperity Report. The Preserving Prosperity Report was a comprehensive study of the regional economy and concluded that our region is a hotbed of innovation and entrepreneurship. To view the report, visit the Council's web site at www.trivalley.org.
The Innovators Forums series will commence on Wednesday, May 17, 2006. Dr. Sean Randolph, President, Bay Area Economic Forum will be the speaker for the first presentation: "Innovation: Tri-Valley and Global Implications." The forum will begin at 6:30 pm at the Las Positas Theater at Las Positas College in Livermore. The discussion will include topics such as the need for Bay Area investments in education, housing and infrastructure to secure the foundation for future innovative success.
