The East Bay Economic Development Alliance along with the SF Business Times and several partners have kicked off an annual event to celebrate and award companies that contribute to the East Bay's culture of innovation. The first-ever East Bay Innovation Awards will celebrate the cutting-edge innovators in business that make the East Bay one of the preeminent regions of innovation in the U.S.

Call for Nominations

The East Bay Innovation Awards will honor companies and individuals in a variety of categories, including: Advanced Manufacturing, Catalyst, Clean Tech, Education, Engineering and Design, Food, Information/Communication Technology, Legacy and Life Sciences. Nominate a business which has made a breakthrough, changed the direction of their industry, and continues to make the East Bay a hub of vibrant activity. Nominees are being accepted through October 19th and will be evaluated by independent panels of experts in each field. Awards Ceremony

Join East Bay business and community leaders celebrating the first ever East Bay Innovation Awards on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Fox Theatre in Oakland. The event will include cocktails, hors d'ouevers and networking preceding the awards ceremony.
