The Pleasanton Downtown Association would like to invite you to attend their upcoming events in November. These events are great opportunities to shop and discover businesses and restaurants in downtown Pleasanton while enjoying a festive holiday spirit.

Magical Holiday Evening

Celebrate the holidays at Downtown Pleasanton's Magical Holiday Evening, the annual downtown open house, on Saturday, November 22nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The streets will come alive with the sights and sounds of the holidays. Start your holiday shopping and celebrate the season with an evening of holiday festivities. At the Magical Holiday Evening, downtown shops, restaurants and businesses usher in the holidays with festive decorations, twinkling lights and an early visit from Santa. Carolers will walk the street and elves will be passing out special treats to shoppers. There is no fee to attend the Magical Holiday Evening.

Holiday Spirit Stroll

The second annual Holiday Spirit Stroll is being held in downtown Pleasanton on Saturday, November 22nd from 5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. This fun event will coincide with the Magical Holiday Evening. At the Holiday Spirit Stroll, 21 downtown merchants will be paired with local breweries, wineries and bars for a festive night sampling of beer, wine and cocktails. Tickets for the Holiday Spirit Stroll are available for $35 online until Friday, November 14th. Ticket prices will increase to $40 on November 14th through Friday, November 21st. A limited number of designated driver tickets will be available for $10 the night of the Holiday Spirit Stroll. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.pleasantondowntown.net/event/details/84.

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday is happening on Saturday, November 29th this year. This is the day to celebrate the Shop Small movement and shop local merchants like those found in downtown Pleasanton or Hacienda. Why shop in Pleasanton? Buying and shopping locally keeps dollars in the local economy. Money spent at local businesses delivers associated sales tax dollars right back as an investment into the city. For every $100 spent at an independently owned Pleasanton store, $46 stays in the community. Help make November 29th the Biggest Day of the Year for small business in Pleasanton!
