Three new WHEELS services are set to take place in Hacienda this month. On Thursday, September 14, you can ride BART for free just by boarding any WHEELS bus. New DART service and route changes commenced at the beginning of the month and the Interstate 680 Express Service just got better with new commuter coaches.

Free BART Day on September 14

On Thursday, September 14, Hacienda employees can ride BART for free as part of a special promotion courtesy of WHEELS and BART. Participation in the event is easy. Park employees and residents boarding any WHEELS bus before noon on the 14th will receive a free BART ticket valued at $4.50.

New WHEELS DART Service and Route Changes Begin

At the beginning of September, new DART (WHEELS' Direct Access Responsive Transit) services commenced. DART currently operates 9:00 am to 2:00 pm weekdays and 8:30 am to 6:30 pm on weekends. Weekday schedules have now been expanded in the evenings to include service from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. See the special DART services web page for details at: www.wheelsbus.com/dart/dart.html. New Interstate 680 Express Buses are in Service

The Interstate 680 Express service has been enhanced with new luxury commuter coaches. Ride expressly in style to or from Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek on this special WHEELS service. Details on routes and schedules can be found at: www.wheelsbus.com/schedules/ttpls70.html.

Free WHEELS Services

Remember, all Hacienda employees and residents can ride any WHEELS bus for free by ordering their WHEELS pass from the Hacienda Owners Association. Passes may be obtained by calling the Association's Transportation Hotline, (925) 734-6551 or by placing an order on our web site.
