Help celebrate the spirit of the Special Olympics by participating in the Special Olympics East Bay Walk for the Gold. This event will be occurring right inside Hacienda on October 14.

Kick-Off Event

Celebrate the Walk for the Gold kick-off event on Friday, September 8, 2000 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am or from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Attendees will meet Special Olympics Athletes and learn about the Special Olympics and participating in the Walk for the Gold. The kick-off event will be held at the Marriott Residence Inn located at 11920 Dublin Canyon Road in Pleasanton. Team captains, walkers and friends are welcome to attend.

Walk for the Gold

The Walk for the Gold will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2000 at 8:00 am. The walk begins at Harvest Park Middle School and continues through Hacienda. Walkers raise money and earn incentive prizes by asking friends, family and co-workers to sponsor them.
