The Tech Museum is the only museum to offer visitors of all ages the unique comprehensive Silicon Valley experience with hands-on, interactive experiences in genetics, earth sciences, alternative energy, virtual design, microchips and more.

Discount Ticket Program

Hacienda has enabled our affiliates to participate in a discount program designed to save you money and provide you with a great value. The discount ticket program allows Hacienda employees and residents to purchase individual tickets for The Tech Museum at discounted rates. The following exhibits and features are available at a discounted rate:

• Islamic Science Rediscovered and The Tech Museum Galleries   This exhibit celebrates the contributions of Muslim scholars and scientists in the arts, astronomy, engineering, exploration, flight, mathematics, optics and medicine. Discount tickets are $14 for adults (regularly $18.99), $14 for students and seniors (regularly $16.99) and $8 for children (regularly $13.99).

• The Tech Museum After Hours   A new monthly themed event were adults 21+ can enjoy science, technology, entertainment and cocktails. Discount tickets are $10 (regularly $12).

• Educational IMAX Film   Enjoy the ultimate movie experience. Discount tickets for the IMAX are $5 for all age groups (regularly up to $8).

• Museum Galleries   Visit the hands-on technology and science museum. Discount tickets are $8 for adults (regularly $12) and $7 for children, students and seniors (regularly $9).

Ordering Tickets

Discount tickets will only be available through the internet. Ordering is secure and easy! Here's how it works:

• Go to: www.thetech.org

• If you do not already have one, you must create a user id and login before selecting your items/date for the discount to be accepted. You can do this under "My Account"

• Select " Buy Tickets" and then select the item from the list above in which you would like to purchase tickets

• Enter your personal Tech account information

• Use "hacienda" as the promotion code

• Follow the prompts to check out and receive your discount tickets
