The City of Pleasanton is involved in several initiatives to help reduce its carbon footprint and become more sustainable. As part of this effort, the City of Pleasanton has formed a partnership with PG&E to embark on an outreach campaign to encourage businesses to implement energy saving measures. Hacienda projects are being invited to participate.
PG&E and the City of Pleasanton are inviting all Hacienda Property Managers to a luncheon and informational meeting being held on Tuesday, August 24th from 12:00-1:30 pm at Faz in Hacienda. This is a great opportunity to meet with fellow Hacienda Property Managers and learn about energy saving tips and ways to cut your building's operating costs while finding out what has worked for other property and facility managers. To participate, please RSVP to ebas@pge.com by Monday, August 16th to express your interest in attending.
During this informal meeting, you will be provided with an overview on the types of projects that qualify for PG&E cash rebates and other financial incentives. Some examples of eligible programs include:
Lighting retrofits including information about new LED technologies
Vending misers
Energy audits to fine tune building systems and controls
Additional information on this program and other conservation programs is available. Please refer to the PG&E contact below for details.
