The Vision of the Valley Children's Museum is to create a facility that will serve as a unique, fully-accessible, and welcoming community resource that will: provide a creative space for children, families, educators and parents groups to learn about their world and each other; provide cultural enrichment; and provide an active volunteer program for youths and seniors. A special benefit function is being held to support the development of this vision.
A benefit for the Valley Children's Museum is being held in association with the Dublin Theater Company's production of "At The Crossroads". "At The Crossroads" is a multi-media, audience interactive, original work, written and performed by Dublin Theater Company's Artistic Director, Rick Robinson, Jr. on people who helped shape the City of Dublin, California. A portion of the proceeds from the May 12, 2000 performance will benefit the Valley Children's Museum. A complimentary reception will take place during the intermission of the performance featuring information on the museum's activities along with an opportunity to meet the Board of Directors.
Tickets for the benefit can be obtained by calling the Dublin Theater Company Box Office, (925) 551-0200. Additional information on the Valley Children's Museum can be obtained through the contact information below.
