The Pleasanton Business Expo will be held on Thursday, October 30th from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at CarrAmerica Conference Center. CarrAmerica is located at 4400 Rosewood Drive in Pleasanton, across from Wal-Mart in the Hacienda Business Park.

Event Highlights

This is the largest tradeshow in the Tri-Valley and will bring together local businesses and others from the community for an evening of networking. Last year, over 300 people attended the Business Expo. This year the Pleasanton Chamber is expecting over 75 exhibitors and 400+ attendees. This year at Pleasanton Business Expo also marks the return of the popular "CEO Roundtable" and the new "B2B Boulevard".

CEO Roundtable

The CEO Roundtable will begin promptly at 5 pm in the auditorium and will be moderated by Pleasanton City Manager, Deborah McKeehan. Participating CEOs include: Dr. Michael Hunkapiller, Applied Biosystems; Steve Tanner, Tanner Companies, LLC; Curt Anderson, Compass Product Design; and Craig Van Selow, Mt. Diablo National Bank. Every attendee of the CEO Roundtable is eligible to participate in a grand prize drawing: a weekend of travel and dining in the Tri-Valley.

B2B Boulevard

The Business 2 Business Boulevard includes street signs that will guide attendees down the "boulevard" to the room where representatives from key companies and organizations will be providing information on their methods and procedures for purchasing goods and services. The City of Pleasanton will be participating along with the Pleasanton Unified School District and the Alameda County Fair Association.

A wine glass and tote bag will be given to the first 250 attendees. Wine tasting is compliments of Garre Vineyards, Elliston Vineyards, and Stoney Ridge Winery. Hors d'oeuvres are compliments of local restaurants and caterers: McNamara's Steak and Chop House, Miraglia Catering, Bamboo Island, Sigi's Catering, Vic's All Star Kitchen, and Pleasanton Hotel.
