On Thursday, September 21, The Friends of the Pleasanton Library will host a fundraising dinner for the Pleasanton Public Library. All profits from this special fundraising event will go towards purchasing books for children.

SS Goodtimes

Set sail on the SS Goodtimes with The Friends of the Pleasanton Library on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 7:00 pm at the Palm Event Center. Authors Josh Braff (The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green) and Ayelet Waldman (Love and Other Impossible Pursuits) will be among your shipmates. The SS Goodtimes will be a cruise-ship themed dinner with authors, music, dancing, food and casino games all while raising funds for The Friends of the Pleasanton Library. The Friends are a non-profit group supporting education and literacy by supporting the Pleasanton Library.
