The Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative invites you to their 3rd annual Community of Character Lunch and Workshop. Join the City of Pleasanton, Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, Pleasanton Unified School District, and many other Pleasanton organizations who are working together to create a community culture that is built on values, goodwill and community-accepted character traits through inspirational, motivational and recognition programs.

Community Luncheon

On Thursday May 28, 2009, the public is invited to a luncheon at the Hilton Pleasanton at the Club from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm featuring special guest Julie Dwyer, former National Director Character Counts, delivering her keynote speech "From Motivation to Momentum - How Successful Communities of Character Thrive!". In addition, the winner of the Juanita Haugen Civic Engagement Award will be announced to a citizen who serves the community by exhibiting the kinds of behaviors the Collaborative advocates: Responsibility, Compassion, Self Discipline, Honesty, Respect and Integrity.
