The Pleasanton Cultural Arts Foundation invites you to join them at their "Burnin' Up the Floor" benefit concert on November 7, 2009. Net proceeds from the event will support the Firehouse Arts Center.

Burnin' Up the Floor

The Pleasanton Cultural Arts Foundation is hosting a fundraiser for the Firehouse Arts Center, currently under construction in downtown Pleasanton, and due to open in 2010. A benefit concert featuring The CoolTones is being held on Saturday, November 7th at 7:00 pm at the Veterans Memorial Building in Pleasanton. Come kick up your heels, show off your skills in the dance contest or just sit back and relax and enjoy the sounds of local band The CoolTones as they entertain you with big band and swing classics as well as contemporary tunes.

Firehouse Arts Center

The Firehouse Arts Center, now under construction, is a new public arts facility being built on the city-owned site of the historic fire station on Railroad Avenue in downtown Pleasanton. The facility will enrich the community with a 240 seat flexible studio theater, 2,000 square feet of high-quality gallery space, two spacious and well-equipped art classrooms and 1,350 square feet of grand lobby space designed to host a variety of events.
