The Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative invites you to their 4th annual Community of Character Luncheon Celebration. Join the City of Pleasanton, Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, Pleasanton Unified School District, and many other Pleasanton organizations who are working together to create a community culture that is built on values, goodwill and community-accepted character traits through inspirational, motivational and recognition programs.

Community Luncheon

On Thursday May 6, 2010, the public is invited to a luncheon at the Pleasanton Senior Center from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Las Positas College President DeRionne Pollard will present the keynote address "Random Acts of Character: How the small things can make a difference in our community."

Juanita Haugen Civic Engagement Award

The Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2010 Juanita Haugen Community of Character Award: Chris Miller, Dr. Pushpa P. Dalal, Bob Athenour, and GASIT (George A. Spiliotopoulos Invitational Tournament) Committee of Friends. This year's winners will be honored at the Community of Character Luncheon Celebration. The award is given annually to a Pleasanton resident who serves the community through volunteer work and who demonstrates a commitment to the Community of Character traits: Responsibility, Compassion, Self Discipline, Honesty, Respect and Integrity.
