EAT TRI-VALLEY RESTAURANT MONTH

The 3rd Annual Eat Tri-Valley Restaurant Month is happening now. The campaign is a part of the larger California Restaurant Month initiative, featuring 30 destinations statewide, promoted by Visit California and designed to drive post-holiday travel to the Golden State. Locally Eat Tri-Valley Restaurant Month also aims to raise awareness and funds for local, food-based charities in the Tri-Valley.

Restaurant Month

The Eat Tri-Valley Restaurant Month is being held at local restaurants around the valley through February 3, 2013. Each week a different city will be showcased with two offers. For the entire month, all participating restaurants will offer a discounted Livermore Valley Wine Tasting Flight at a reduced price, or waived corkage fees. During each city's highlighted week, all participating restaurants will offer a Pre-Fixe menu for lunch and/or dinner with the price determined by each individual establishment and a portion of the price going to local food charities.

  • January 7th - January 13th features restaurants in Dublin

  • January 14th - January 20th features restaurants in Livermore

  • January 21st - January 27th features restaurants in Pleasanton

  • January 28th - February 3rd features restaurants in San Ramon

Eating Out and Helping Out

No tickets or passes are required for Eat Tri-Valley. Diners simply dine out at as many participating restaurants as they like all week. $2.00 from the cost of each Pre-Fixe menu sold will be donated to a food-based charity in that city. At the end of the month, the CVB will donate up to $2,500 in matching funds to the respective food banks. A weekly list of participating restaurants, menus, and benefiting charities can be found by visiting: www.trivalleycvb.com/eattrivalley.

Launch Event

On the Friday preceding each city's focus, the CVB will host a Launch Event at a featured restaurant from that city. January 11th is the event for Livermore, January 18th is the event for Pleasanton and January 25th is the event for San Ramon. At each Launch Event, the final participants and menus will be announced for that city and that city will "go live" at the EatTriValley.com event pages.
