Meals on Wheels of Alameda County invites you to ride with them on October 29th. Meals on Wheels of Alameda County supports the delivery of over 530,000 meals to homebound seniors every week day across the county. The Wheels for Meals ride raises money through registration and rider solicited fundraising.

Wheels for Meals

The 7th Annual Wheels for Meals Ride is being held on Saturday, October 29, 2016. The ride begins at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park in Pleasanton and travels through the Livermore Valley vineyards. There are three routes to choose from offering rides for people of all levels: a family friendly 15 mile route, great for kids and beginners; a 35 mile route for those who are looking for more of a challenge; a strenuous 70 mile route with steep climbs and fast descents, perfect for an experienced cyclist. All of the routes are fully supported with SAG vehicles, well stocked rest stops, route markings and cue sheets.

Registration

The ride is limited to 1,200 riders and registration closes at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 28th. All riders will be treated to a post-ride BBQ with music, booths, massage and refreshments. Ride information and registration is available online at: www.wheelsformealsride.com/.
