The Tri-Valley Housing Opportunity Center invites you to attend their upcoming classes on homeownership and finances. The Tri-Valley Housing Opportunity Center is a federally approved non-profit housing counseling agency working regionally to promote affordable homeownership and rental opportunities in the Tri-Valley region.

First Time Homebuyer Education Class

A First Time Home Buyer Education Class: Budgeting, Borrowing, Buying, & Beyond is being held on Saturday January 30th, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at Las Positas College. The course will include information on the purchase process, money management, understanding credit, getting a mortgage loan, shopping for and maintaining a home and personal finances after the purchase. There is a $60 fee, per family, for the course to cover materials.
