The East Bay Economic Development Alliance will once again celebrate and award companies that most contribute to the East Bay's culture of innovation. This awards ceremony highlights the competitive advantages of the East Bay and showcases outstanding companies who embrace innovation in their manufacturing, services, design, and information. The East Bay Economic Development Alliance is regional voice and networking resource for strengthening the cognomen, building the workforce, and enhancing the quality of life in the East Bay.

Innovation Awards

Join East Bay business and community leaders to celebrate the 7th Annual East Bay Innovation Awards on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 5:00 - 8:30 pm at the historic Fox Theater in Oakland. Awards will be presented in a variety of categories to East Bay companies and individuals who have contributed to the region's culture of innovation and prosperity. Judges are composed of industry leaders, experts, and influencers in their respective fields. Each category is judged using responses from publicly submitted nomination forms, and evaluated by a committee of 8-10 executives. Categories include: Catalyst of the Year, Clean Tech, Education, Engineering & Design, Food, Information and/or Communication Technology, and Life Sciences.

Event Details | Registration

The Innovation Awards will be held at the Fox Theater, 1807 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. A Red Carpet Reception will be held from 5:00 - 6:30 pm, and the Awards Program will be conducted from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a friends-or-family four-pack flight on Southwest Airlines. For East Bay EDA Members, registration is $100 for members and and $150 for non members. Registration can be obtained by contacting the East Bay EDA representative below.
