Local businesses are being sought as partners in Innovation TRIVALLEY Leadership Group's Boomerang Project; a special education initiative furthering internship opportunities in the Tri-Valley. Innovation TRIVALLEY Leadership Group is a collective of leaders and influencers committed to connecting the businesses, educational institutions, research labs, and civic leaders in the region. This collaborative force is generating job growth and economic vitality in the $42B ecosystem, powered by innovation and an unparalleled quality of life.
The Boomerang Project is a career development initiative launched by the Innovation TRIVALLEY Leadership Group in partnership with Daybreak Labs, the Pedrozzi Foundation, and Las Positas College to promote internships. Regardless of where local students go to college, the Boomerang Project hopes to guide them to return or "boomerang" home to grow their careers here in the Tri-Valley. By connecting emerging young professionals with local industry leaders, the Boomerang Project provides an early opportunity to fuel the region's growth and vitality for years to come.
The Innovation TRIVALLEY Leadership Group website will let students apply directly to individual employers in a field related to their career goals. Students wishing to register can visit: www.trivalleyconnect.org/boomerang-internship-program/. Placements, internship specifications, and hours will be based upon the employer's needs and the student's qualifications and availability; which students will discuss directly with the employer. A view of all internships can be seen without the need for registration by using this link: jobs.trivalleyconnect.org/?q=intern.
Organizations interested in creating internship opportunities are encouraged to submit their company name, contact information, and career and job site information to the Innovation TRIVALLEY Leadership Group representative below. Interns will be placed through mutual agreement of the employer and student by matching an industry partner in a field related to the career goals of the student. Placements will based upon both the employer's needs and the qualifications of the applicant.
Additional information relating to the program or opportunities to add your organization's internship opportunities are available. For details, please refer to the Innovation TRIVALLEY Leadership Group representative below.
