Join the Assistance League of Amador Valley in their efforts to help feed families in need. The Assistance League of Amador Valley is a non-profit organization serving the Tri-Valley through hands-on volunteerism that provides aid to those in need through unique service projects. These include Birthday Bags at Tri-Valley Haven; support for the Pleasanton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, The Gathering Place and Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry; Operation School Bell; and Screening Eyes Early.

Food for Families

As the holidays approach, Assistance League of Amador Valley is seeking support for their Food for Families program to help with both food contributions and distribution at the Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry. Assistance League of Amador Valley started the Food for Families Program five years ago to help support the work of the Food Pantry. Since it began, Assistance League of Amador Valley has seen the needs of families in the Tri-Valley area steadily increase, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Food for Families now serves approximately 1,200 families per month; a significant increase over the 500 families served monthly when the program first started.

How to Help

Assistance League of Amador Valley provides a combination of food items for main meals, as well as items that help families create their own meals. Assistance League of Amador Valley encourages you to consider becoming a member as a way of providing direct volunteer assistance in its Food for Families program.
