California has a new Business Support Fund to help aid businesses in the state in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Office of the Small Business Advocate helps support economic growth and innovation by working to ensure that California’s small businesses and entrepreneurs have the information, tools and resources they need to start, manage and grow.
A $500 million California Small Business Covid-19 Relief Grant Program was recently announced by Governor Newsom and the Legislature. The program supports small businesses and nonprofits impacted by Covid-19 and related health and safety restrictions. The State of California and CalOSBA are committed to ensuring small businesses have access to the support, resources and capital they need which is part of California’s Covid-19 response.
The CAReliefGrant.com web site was recently launched so that you can review information on eligibility, prepare your business documents and get ready to apply. Applications for Round 1 will open on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, and close at the end of the day on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Round 2 will be announced in the near future.
