Join Tri-Valley Conservancy at their Livermore Valley annual wine competition, Uncorked. The Tri-Valley Conservancy invites local wineries to submit their best wines to this special annual event. What makes this competition unique is that the submitted wines are crafted from grapes grown in the Livermore Valley American Viticultural Area (AVA). The purpose of Uncorked is to promote the excellence of Livermore Valley American Viticultural Area wines. The Tri-Valley Conservancy protects open space for parks, farms, trails, ranches and wildlife habitat in the Tri-Valley for future generations.

Uncorked Competition

Uncorked 2023 is an event focused on premier Livermore Valley wines and great food. The competition has three components: Preliminary Round Judging, Final Round Judging, and the Celebration. The Preliminary Round judging took place on March 1-2, 2023 at Almost Famous Wine Company. The judges blindly taste to determine whether a wine will move forward to the final round. The Final Round of judging took place on March 15, 2023, by a small cohort of professional judges. It is here that the medal rankings of best in class, and best in show, are determined via blind tasting.

Uncorked Celebration: Come One, Come All

The Uncorked Celebration will be held on Thursday, April 27th at the Bella Rosa Event Center, Garré Winery in Livermore. The Celebration is the highlight of the Uncorked Wine Competition where winning wines are announced, and medals are awarded by emcee Marc Roberts. Guests will be able to sample the medal-winning wines from the fourteen Best in Class winners. The Celebration is a reception-style event with great food including crudité and charcuterie platters, three main food stations serving a total of seven dishes, and a beautiful dessert station.

General admission Celebration tickets are $125 and registration is required. To register, please visit: trivalleyconservancy.ejoinme.org/uncorked. Due to the service of alcohol, no participants under the age of 21 are permitted.
