Startup Tri-Valley invites you to their Artificial Intelligence Series event "GenAI Attacks and Defenses". Startup Tri-Valley is an initiative to grow and strengthen the Tri-Valley region by helping startups succeed and connecting founders and innovators to a network of resources built specifically for science-based startups. The initiative is sponsored by the Tri-Valley cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and the Town of Danville, and i-GATE Innovation Hub partners Lawrence Livermore and Sandia National Laboratories.

On Wednesday, September 18th from 5:00 - 7:30 pm, Startup Tri-Valley invites you to an exciting and informative event devoted to exploring artificial intelligence and the development of an emerging technology at the Dublin Technology Center, 6200 Village Parkway in Dublin. This event provides an opportunity to learn from experts and will feature panelist speaker Dr. Neil Daswani, Co-Director, Stanford Advanced Cybersecurity Program and President, Daswani Enterprises. Dr. Daswani's presentation will cover recent vulnerabilities, breaches, and abuses of some of the world's most popular Generative AI (GenAI) systems, such as OpenAI and Mistral. This session will offer a broad overview of: major Generative AI vulnerabilities and abuses such as jailbreaks, prompt injections, hallucinations, adversarial examples, and deep fakes; as well as protections and defenses against these vulnerabilities. This event promises to provide a great opportunity to learn about some of the current capabilities and limitations of Generative AI as well as practical steps for enhancing Generative AI security applicable to both consumers and enterprises.
