Join the community for a celebration of Filipino culture at the annual Filipino Barrio Fiesta presented by the Livermore Filipino - American (Fil-Am) Organization. The Livermore Fil-Am Organization is dedicated to promoting awareness of Philippine culture and heritage through cultural, social and community-oriented programs. October officially marks Filipino American History Month in the United States. In November of 2009, both the United States House of Representatives and Senate passed laws officially recognizing October as Filipino American History Month. Livermore Fil-Am Organization looks forward to celebrating Filipino American History Month at this special event.

Event Details

The Annual Filipino Barrio Fiesta is free and open to the public and will take place in Downtown Livermore at the Bankhead Plaza, 2400 First Street, Livermore from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 5th. Join the Livermore Fil-Am Organization in Downtown Livermore in celebrating Filipino American History Month through art, food, music, dance, history, and culture. There will be live Fil-Am performances, authentic Filipino food, a mobile skate park brought to you by Be Exceptional Programs, a scavenger hunt sponsored by Visit Tri-Valley, and great variety of vendors.  A full list of day of events, participating vendors and organizations is available at: www.livermorefilam.org/filipinobarriofiesta.
