The City of Pleasanton encourages your participation in an upcoming community meeting to help build safer streets and a safely connected community. In accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation Safe Streets for All Program, the City of Pleasanton is working to develop the Pleasanton Transportation Safety Action Plan (PTSAP). Your participation in the upcoming PTSAP Community Meeting will help develop this plan and help create safer streets. The PTSAP will identify data-driven projects and strategies, and incorporate best practices, stakeholder input, and equity and environmental considerations to address the needs of the city's roadways.
The City of Pleasanton's Community Development Division is holding an online PTSAP Community Meeting on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. The discussion focus of this meeting will be on the Pleasanton area west of Santa Rita Road. Hacienda employees and residents are encouraged to join the conversation. Participants will have an opportunity to share experiences about traffic safety in Pleasanton and help prioritize necessary improvements. The City of Pleasanton's Community Development Division is interested in collecting information on how to help achieve the goal of eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries through proven safety strategies, community input, and data-driven solutions. Your input is important as projects will be identified to make streets safer for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists and all other roadway users.
