Pleasanton Weekly in partnership with the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Mayoral and Council Candidates' Forum. Everyone is invited to attend an engaging evening featuring the mayoral and city council candidates running for office in the November 2026 election. The Pleasanton Weekly is a community newspaper published on Fridays and delivered by U.S. Mail to homes and businesses in Pleasanton. The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is organized to benefit business by creating and promoting economic opportunity, strengthening and educating its members and the community, and influencing public policy.

Event Details

The forum is being held at Pleasanton City Hall, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. The forum will be moderated by Pleasanton Weekly Publisher Gina Channell Wilcox and Associate Publisher/Editorial Director Jeremy Walsh. Attendees will first hear from mayoral candidates Jack Balch and Julie Tesla. The mayoral candidates will be followed by city council candidates from District 1, Vin Kruttiventi and Kathy Narum, and District 3, Reena Gupta and Jamie Yee. The event will be video-recorded and posted afterward so voters can watch through Election Day.
