Join Livermore Valley Arts at their Opening Night At The Bankhead event for an evening of welcoming in their 20th Season! Livermore Valley Arts is an independent, 501(c)3, non-profit organization that operates three spaces: the Bankhead Theater, the Bothwell Arts Center and Downtown Art Studios. The mission of Livermore Valley Arts is to offer a broad range of arts opportunities and experiences to engage a diverse community.

Event Details

Opening Night at the Bankhead is a gala-style fundraiser and will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Bankhead Theater, 2400 First Street, in Livermore. This special event will feature an intimate performance by four-time Grammy Award-winning artist Lyle Lovett, along with a live and silent auction, raffle, and Fund-a-Need initiative supporting arts education outreach programs.  Following the performance, the celebration continues with the Opening Night After Party on the Bankhead Plaza.

Opening Night After Party 

From 8:00 to 10:30 pm on the Bankhead Plaza, the Opening Night at the Bankhead After Party will be a dynamic evening that supports the arts with live entertainment, food, dancing, and community in the heart of Downtown Livermore. Attendees will enjoy live music by Matt Axton & Badmoon, food, drink, sweet treats, and a photo booth; the perfect way to end an evening of great entertainment!

Tickets and Sponsorship Opportunities

Ticket prices for the Opening Night at the Bankhead main event are $295 for general seating and $750 for VIP accommodations. Tickets for the Opening Night After Party are $95 and may be purchased at: www.livermorearts.org/events/opening-night-after-party. Sponsorship and donation opportunities are also available. All proceeds from the event are considered a donation to Livermore Valley Arts Center.
