2002 TOP HAT CLASSIC

Join hundreds of cyclists on Saturday, April 27th for the 2002 Top Hat Classic bike tour. All money raised at the Top Hat Classic is used to fund research and to provide programs and services for Northern Californians affected by multiple sclerosis.

Fun and Prizes

Begin your day with a continental breakfast at PeopleSoft Plaza in Hacienda, the starting line for the events. After finishing your event, be sure to return for the Finish Line Party where you will enjoy an afternoon of food, drinks and music. Sports massage therapists and professional bike mechanics will also be on hand for participants. Win bike store gift certificates, clothing, or a trip to the San Diego "Tour of Champions" bike tour. Prizes are being awarded based on the amount of pledges raised.

Event Description

This fun event offers several different courses making it an event for all abilities. Every rider will enjoy pedaling through charming East Bay communities. Depending on the course, some riders will enjoy riding through the foothills of Mount Diablo (25 mile route), under the redwood trees of the San Leandro Hills (50 and 75 mile routes) and past the view of Briones Regional Park (75 mile route). Fully stocked rest stops will be located along the route.

Registration

You can register as a single rider or a team. Single riders can join Pedalers Without Partners and have fun meeting other cyclists from the area.
