The City of Pleasanton will soon be performing street improvements on a portion of W. Las Positas Boulevard. While activities have been scheduled to provide minimum disruption, some lane closures, restricted traffic access and delays may occur.

Schedule of Work

The W. Las Positas Boulevard street improvement project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 28th with completion targeted by the end of July. Construction will occur on the eastbound direction of W. Las Positas Boulevard between Hacienda Drive and Stoneridge Drive and traffic will be reduced to one lane in the eastbound direction. Construction activities will consist of, but are not limited to: the removal and replacement of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks and curb ramps; roadway pavement repair; and asphalt overlay. Vehicular access to Fiesta Drive will be closed to through traffic during this construction. Various portions of the street may have restricted access at any given time so use of alternative routes is advised when practical.

Assistance Sought

The Association would like to encourage added caution and safety in the area while work is being conducted. Your assistance is requested in helping to alert people at your site about this project so that the greatest possible advance notification is provided.
