Hacienda has a number of resources available for your alternative commute. City CarShare, in partnership with Toyota and with support from Schneider Electric EVlink, has brought a fleet of Toyota Scion IQ electric vehicles to Hacienda so that commuters can have a new, emissions-free and convenient local travel option.

City CarShare

Join City CarShare, the only local, non-profit carsharing organization in the Bay Area. Get great rates and 24/7 hourly-access to hundreds of cars on both sides of the Bay. In partnership with Toyota, City CarShare has launched Dash, a 100% electric carsharing fleet, in Hacienda. Hacienda's Dash discount plan includes a number of benefits. City CarShare sign-up can be yours for just $25.00 along with $25.00 in free driving credits. In addition, Hacienda Dash discount plan participants enjoy discounted hourly and mileage rates from $4.50 per hour and 35 cents per mile. Better still, with the Hacienda Dash discount plan, you are not limited to the vehicles found in Hacienda and have access to the entire City CarShare fleet with cars and locations all over the Bay Area.

Order Your City CarShare Information

In order to qualify for the City CarShare program, applicants need to be either an employee within Hacienda or a resident within one of the following Hacienda residential communities: Avila, Park Hacienda, Siena, Springhouse, Valencia or Verona. Pass information will be delivered on submission of your request below. Simply go to www.hacienda.org and log into your Hacienda account. If you have not already done so, creating an account is easily accomplished by following the directions below. Once logged in, proceed to the Special Offers section off the Tools menu and select Commute and City CarShare from the menu on the left. Registered users will be able to view details as well as gaining access to all of the other Special Offers provided to Hacienda affiliates.

Your Hacienda User Account

We invite you to create your own Hacienda account to gain access to the many special features on our site. Simply go to www.hacienda.org and select Log In at the top of any page. You will find a grey link underneath the login information where you can create an account. Initiate your account by entering your name and setting up a user name and password. To gain access to special user features available to Hacienda affiliates, scroll down the page and select the box of the type of account you would like to create (Employee, Resident, Business, Owner, Vendor) and select the blue Submit button. Complete the details on the following page related to the type of account you are creating and select the blue Complete Registration button. Once submitted, your account will be verified and a confirming e-mail sent indicating that your account has been activated. Once activated, you will have complete access to all of the special features available to your account type.
