DONATIONS SOUGHT FOR 2020 HACIENDA VIRTUAL FOOD DRIVE

Hacienda is continuing its partnership with the Alameda County Community Food Bank to raise much needed funds to help some of the most vulnerable members of our community with the 2020 Virtual Food Drive. As a participant in the Virtual Food Drive, your donations go a long way towards helping the Food Bank meet their mission in Alameda County. Locally, a number of Tri-Valley operations are recipients of food and money collected by the Food Bank.

2020 Virtual Food Drive

Hacienda would like to encourage you to support our over twenty year tradition and join in the annual Alameda County Community Food Bank Virtual Food Drive happening now through the end of the year. During traditional drives, Hacienda businesses and affiliates have assisted with the collection of food in barrels found at locations throughout the park which helped collect food for those in need. More recently, our drives have included a donation component to add further means for people to provide support. This year Hacienda is working with the Food Bank to help them to continue feeding the people that depend on their services. Because of conditions required to address the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this year's drive will be entirely virtual. However, the need, which has been exacerbated by the pandemic, has never been greater in the community. We know we can help and to that end we have made it even easier to participate and donate this year.

Virtual Food Drive

Visit the Food Bank's virtual shop to help them purchase the items they need the most. This is a great way to donate goods this year in the absence of physical barrels due to health restrictions. The Food Bank is able to distribute the equivalent of 2 meals for every $1 donated virtually. To participate, simply visit: https://www.vfd-accfb.org/grouphome.aspx?ID=7522. You can then donate under the Hacienda drive.
