The San Francisco Bay Area's Annual Bike to Wherever Day is coming! Join Hacienda, a Silver Sponsor of Bike to Wherever Day in the East Bay, in this premier bicycling event taking place throughout Northern California occurring in all nine Bay Area counties. Pledge to Ride

Bike to Wherever Day is back on Friday, May 20! Pledge to ride and get your map of contact-free Energizer Stations for the big day, digital goody bag, and self-guided rides to celebrate. Tri-Valley residents who Pledge to Ride on May 20 for Bike to Wherever Day will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a number of exciting prizes! Visit an Energizer Station

Hacienda, along with the cities of Pleasanton and Dublin, and Hacienda tenant Veeva, will again be hosting an Energizer Station at the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station just outside the turnstiles. Come visit between 7:00 and 9:00 am on Bike to Wherever Day for some great recognition for cyclists!

Bike Champion of the Year

One Champion will be chosen from each Bay Area county through Bike East Bay voting. The winners from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma will be posted soon and through a special media release. Take the Bike Quiz and Win

May is Bike Month. This year, it is anticipated that more cyclists than ever will Bike to Wherever! The Tri-Valley Spare the Air Team wants to help everyone share the road safely. Drivers and cyclists can test their knowledge about sharing the road safely by taking a 6-question quiz from Bike East Bay. Answers are provided at the end of the quiz, and are specific to California state law. Tri-Valley residents who complete the quiz and provide an email contact will be entered into a random drawing for one of eight $50 gift cards. You can take the quiz here: www.bit.ly/driversedquiz.

The City of Pleasanton has a number of great bicycle resources; all available online!
