Hacienda, along with the cities of Pleasanton and Dublin, and Hacienda tenant Veeva, will again be hosting an Energizer Station at the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station just outside the turnstiles. Come visit between 7:00 and 9:00 am on Bike to Wherever Day for some great recognition for cyclists!
One Champion will be chosen from each Bay Area county through Bike East Bay voting. The winners from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma will be posted soon and through a special media release. May is Bike Month. This year, it is anticipated that more cyclists than ever will Bike to Wherever! The Tri-Valley Spare the Air Team wants to help everyone share the road safely. Drivers and cyclists can test their knowledge about sharing the road safely by taking a 6-question quiz from Bike East Bay. Answers are provided at the end of the quiz, and are specific to California state law. Tri-Valley residents who complete the quiz and provide an email contact will be entered into a random drawing for one of eight $50 gift cards. You can take the quiz here: www.bit.ly/driversedquiz.
