As the official Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) Food Drive Sponsor, 1st United has welcomed ACCFB food drive barrels at each of their nine locations throughout the county. The ACCFB distribute millions of healthy meals every year, and are on the forefront of new approaches to ending hunger and poverty. They partner with more than 420+ food pantries, hot-meal programs, senior centers and other non-profits to distribute millions of pounds of food every year. 1st United Credit Union has a long history of service in the Bay Area. Founded in 1932 as City & County Employees' Credit Union, they were one of the first credit unions in the State of California. 1st United Credit Union is committed to improving the quality of life for their members and the communities they serve across the East Bay and Tri-Valley areas. They provide support to a wide variety of worthwhile educational and healthcare programs in your neighborhood.

All you have to do is collect shelf-stable pantry items in your own containers to drop off in the ACCFB barrels at the 1st United Credit Union branch near you.
