Get ready to greet Summer and enjoy good times at the Alameda County Fair! The Alameda County Fair returns June 16th through July 9th and provides great entertainment for all ages. This year's Alameda County Fair includes: brand new rides, over 15 exciting concerts (excluding July 4th), Wine Fest and Brew Fest events, horse racing, Imperial Knights Extreme Medieval Stunt Show, and FMX Freestyle Motocross, plus so much more! Fair favorites will be back including exhibits, animals, games, pig races, Kids’ Park, as well as special event days. Movies are played on the Michelob Ultra Concert Lawn every night, as well as nightly concerts. Fair foodies should be sure to come out for your favorite fair food. On Thursdays, food vendors participate and serve a smaller serving of their popular offering for $3 Fair Food Bites until 5 pm. Come for the fun, entertainment and great fair food!

2023 Alameda County Fair Fun

In addition to the great exhibits and entertainment that the Fair is known for, the Fair's Carnival takes center stage in 2023 with the addition of a brand new, cross-grounds Sky Ride. This attraction features 70 passenger gondolas that offer riders an exciting, bird's eye view of the Fair. The ride will extend from the Green Gate main entrance to the Kids Park at the Yellow Gate entrance. Also new this year for thrill-seekers is the TURBO, a super fast, adrenaline-rush ride with upside-down, free flipping action at 120 feet in the air. The Fair's Opening Day Cattle Drive, where real-life cowboys and cowgirls guide a mighty herd of steers through Downtown Pleasanton, returns for an encore.
