CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, owners of the AT&T Center, is expanding the services and avail ability of the AT&T Conference Center in the complex.
"There are a lot of organizations that would love to do events hereit's a wonderful facility, but nobody knows of its availability," says Ernie Hughes, CarrAmerica's director of operations for the site. "We want to provide better services to businesses here in Hacienda and in the Tri-Valley and Interstate 680 corridor."
The AT&T Conference Center consists of three rooms, including an auditorium with movie-style seating and a vast selection of audio and video equipment. All three rooms are wired with ISDN lines for state-of-the-art telecommunications technology like video conferencing.
The largest room, the Tassajara Room, totals 2,852 square feet and can seat up to 250 people.
Next largest is the 1,920 square foot auditorium which seats 184. "We've pur chased new podiums for the auditorium and are upgrading the A/V systems as well," adds Hughes. The comfortable seats offer swing-up desktops.
Lastly, the Diablo room offers 816 square feet, enough to host 30 people in a classroom setting or 100 in theater-style seating.
Hughes emphasizes a flexible attitude towards the Center's use.
"We want to meet the needs of organizations that come in here so that we can give a complete package," he says.
The facility is available throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. Outside caterers are welcome.
