Hacienda Location is Part of Bank's Biggest Expansion in Over a Decade
In October, Union Bank of California opened the first of six new branch offices, beginning with the Pleasanton branch located in Hacienda, as part of the bank's largest expansion in the San Francisco Bay Area in more than 10 years. The new branch is located at 4747 Hopyard Avenue in the Crossroads Center.
Of the six new branches, five are in the East Bay, Pleasanton being the first, followed by San Ramon, Alamo, Orinda and Moraga. The sixth branch will be in San Jose. After the new offices are added by early 2008, Union will have 17 East Bay branches. The Bay Area now has 38 Union branches and will increase its offices in the nine-county region to 44.
Anne King, a 13-year veteran of the financial services industry is the Pleasanton branch manager. "We chose Pleasanton as our first branch to open in the East Bay because we have a lot of bank clients who currently live and work here who have been under served," explains King. "We are glad to be in Hacienda because it is a good location with close proximity to freeways and an abundance of business to which we can offer services."
The branch is a traditional "walk-in" office for personal and commercial banking offering checking, savings, CDs, investments, consumer and business loans, safe deposit and ATM. "We offer the products that all other banks offer," adds King. "The difference is in the way we take care of our customers, the way we are genuine and sincere in the way we help people. We are a fine team of professionals who put the interests of our clients first and foremost."
Union Bank plans to use the expansion of branches as a way to extend a personal touch to more customers who are primarily businesses and entrepreneurs. "Integrity, honesty and good customer service is what we guarantee," says King. "This is what customers will find and love about us."
To help promote the new Pleasanton branch, a special offer is being extended to new customers who open an account between November 1 and November 30th with an initial deposit of $10,000. Customers who make such a deposit will receive a Nano iPod. "The promotion also applies for opening a new CD account," adds King.
The branch provides it financial services six days a week. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
