Pleasanton Business Solutions, Hacienda's first executive business center, opened on December 1 at 4695 Chabot Drive. After almost three months of renovation, the entire second floor-roughly 19,000 square feet-of Park Plaza I has been transformed into 55-plus offices, three conference rooms, a training room, and a handful of cubicles. All the space is turnkey, so occupants can move into a fully furnished office or two-room suite and start functioning immediately. All the accoutrements necessary to conduct business are at hand, including a professional receptionist to answer calls, fiber optic Internet connectivity, video conferencing, color copiers and printers, client meeting rooms, and support staff for administrative tasks. There is even a large lunch room area for networking with fellow Center occupants.

Lathi is part of an organization, Shakti Ventures, LLC, that has seen steady growth owning and operating executive business since 1998. He admits the new venture is a bold move but notes that it aligns well with today's business trends.
