George Kallis has joined the management team at Callahan Pentz as the firm's newest partner, according to an announcement by Joseph Callahan, managing partner of the firm. Kallis will be responsible for the marketing function for the Hacienda and Valley Business Parks in North Pleasanton as well as for other Callahan Pentz developments in the Tri-Valley area.

"George brings with him a broad base of knowledge and experience in marketing and sales," commented Callahan. "He is an excellent addition to our firm as we reorganize our management teams and expand our technical expertise in the various areas of real estate development."

George and Joe met in 1969 when both were in the training program for Xerox. He is a native of Maryland and got his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland in 1969.

Kallis most recently was with Coldwell Banker as vice president and resident manager of one of the company's Southern California branches. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, he was with the Xerox Corporation for seven years.

George and his wife, Kathleen live in Pleasanton along with two young sons, Damien and Luke.
