Vanderson Open for Business

Vanderson Construction, Inc., a general contractor and construction firm, moved its Pleasanton office from Old Santa Rita Road to the Willow Center in Hacienda Business Park.

According to Glen Gable, project manager for Vanderson, the move was prompted by "our need for larger warehousing and office space, and by our involvement with the development of Hacienda!"

Vanderson moved into its new 4,600-square-foot offices on Friday, June 28, and opened for business on Monday, July 1. Approximately 2,000 square feet will be devoted to warehousing, leaving the remaining space for offices. The office will employ seven permanent people.

Vanderson, headquartered in San Jose, constructed $60 million worth of commercial buildings last year, and has built several office buildings at Hacienda Business Park, including Chabot Center, Sunol Center, Viacom Cable, Hacienda Center and the building Vanderson occupies, Willow Center.

Other tenants in Willow Center include Safeco Title Insurance which occupies about 11,000 square feet of space and Security Pacific National Bank's North Coast Administration Division, occupying about 31,000 square feet.
