Library League Honors CPP with Book Donations

Callahan-Pentz Properties' strong, ongoing commitment to efforts to build a new library in Pleasanton were recognized by the Pleasanton Library League in February.

The Library League voted to donate $100 in children's picture books in honor of CPP. The donation is part of the Alameda County Library's program to replace popular picture books in the library's collection.

Old volumes which are worn and tattered are replaced with new editions as part of the library's Picturebook Preservation Trust. The replacement program is ongoing and library supporters are invited to contribute the price of their favorite children's picture book. The donor's name, or that of an honoree, will appear on a bookplate on the inside cover of the book in recognition of their generosity.

The popular titles which will have Callahan-Pentz Properties name on the inside cover are Where the Wild Things Are, Miss Nelson is Missing and Make Way for Ducklings.
