Approximately 900 employees and their guests attended an open house at Associates on Sunday, June 1.

Associates Diversified Services Inc., a consumer financial service unit of Associates Corporation of North America, now occupies approximately 118,000 square feet of space in The Associates Center.

Associates Diversified Services operations include such various consumer financial services as revolving loan products, check cashing services, automobile club services and participation in credit card receivables.

Associates Corporation of North America, with assets of over a billion, provides commercial finance and leasing, consumer financial services and insurance.

Founded in 1918, The Associates funds many of its operations by issuing commercial paper and term debt instruments to banks and institutional investors internationally.

The Associates is the principal member of the Financial Service Group of Gulf + Western Industries, Inc.
