Safeco Title Insurance, the third largest title insurer in the U.S., recently expanded its Alameda County operations to include 13,000 square feet at Hacienda Business Park.

The new Safeco facility at Hacienda has 40 employees and is part of "Willow Two" a 31,320-square-foot building located at 5925 Stoneridge Drive.

Safeco's operations at Hacienda Business Park include escrow, title and administration, regional support personnel and a training facility. Employees from all of Safeco's Northern California divisions utilize the training facility for meetings, seminars and continuing education programs in real estate.

According to Ruth Jackson, administrative manager of Safeco in Pleasanton, Safeco moved to Hacienda Business Park because it offered "an attractive lease, room to grow and abundant parking!" Available parking was critical to Safeco, as its training
facility is used by an average of 35-40 employees on a daily basis.
