The City of Pleasanton in conjunction with Natural Capitalism Inc. is inviting Hacienda businesses and affiliates to attend an information session on the benefit of joining a Business Sustainability Circle. Sustainability Circles are unique forums where businesses gain in-depth personalized guidance on how to implement sustainability measures in the operations and management of their business. The goal is to foster greater profitability, build brand integrity and bolster stakeholder relationships.

Introductory Meeting

A Pleasanton Sustainability Circle information session in being held on Thursday, April 1 from 8:00 to 9:30 am at the Pleasanton Marriott at 11950 Dublin Canyon Road. Learn how a Sustainability Circle can help your business in this changing economic climate.

Pleasanton Sustainability Circle

A Sustainability Circle is a teaching forum where 6 to 8 local businesses will learn the cost-saving and profit benefits of sustainable business practices, while building community and relationships with other forward-thinking business leaders. Through interaction and a proprietary web-based implementation tool, companies are trained and mentored in the key facets of sustainable business practices: improving efficiencies in lighting, heating and cooling; waste management; transit and travel; water management; and stakeholder and employee engagement.
