The City of Pleasanton will soon be initiating a new commercial recycling program for its commercial garbage customers. The City is offering commercial customers a chance to learn about and comment on this new program on February 10th before the program is launched.
The new commercial recycling program will involve a voluntary single stream collection in which each commercial account will receive an additional 96-gallon cart for recyclables. Upon request, Pleasanton Garbage Service will also be available to provide on-site consultations to commercial accounts to explore added recycling capacity including the use of large containers for recyclables.
A meeting has been scheduled for commercial representatives to ask questions and provide feedback on this program. The meeting is being held on Thursday, February 10th at 10:00 am at the Pleasanton City Hall, City Council Chambers located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue.
Additional information on this program and other Pleasanton conservation programs is available. Please refer to the City of Pleasanton contact below for details.
