Robert Half Recognized for Sustainability and More

In March, global talent solutions and business consulting firm Robert Half was named to the list of Barron's 100 Most Sustainable Companies for the sixth consecutive year. Robert Half has been included every year since the list first debuted in 2018. To compile the list, Barron's analyzes the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in five key categories: employees, customers, community, planet, and shareholders.

"This recognition reaffirms our standing as a responsible corporate citizen whose ESG policies and programs are making a positive impact - both internally and externally," according to M. Keith Waddell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Robert Half.
The firm, which became a Hacienda tenant in 1996, has received a variety of accolades recently. In February, it was once again named by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers and was the top-ranked staffing firm on this year's list. The annual ranking is based on an independent survey of approximately 45,000 participants from a wide range of companies with 1,000 or more employees in the U.S. Respondents were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employer to friends and family, as well as other factors such as working conditions, potential for advancement, and company image.

Robert Half has made significant investments in initiatives designed to create a world-class experience for all employees. From flexible work options to training and development programs, wellness offerings, and Employee Network Groups, employees have access to a variety of resources that allow them to connect, thrive, and grow, according to executives. The staffing firm was one of a select few companies and the only one in its industry recently named to FORTUNE's "Most Admired Companies" list for the 26th consecutive year.

The firm has also been recognized by Forbes as a World's Best Employer, Best Employer for Women, and Best Employer for Diversity. Moreover, in January Robert Half was named to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the fifth consecutive year. The index tracks the performance of companies around the world committed to supporting gender equality through policy development, representation, and transparency.

"Fostering a culture of belonging - where all employees can connect, thrive, and grow - is core to our success as a company as we promote equality in the workplace," according to Waddell. "We are particularly proud of the enhanced programs and resources we offer to support women, who make up more than half of Robert Half's global workforce and hold many of our key leadership positions."

According to executives, Robert Half recently enhanced benefits that help meet the needs of families in the workforce, including an increase in both adoption assistance and fertility treatment coverage, a Support for Families initiative for parents and caregivers, and a flexible work model that allows employees the opportunity to work where and when they will be most successful while supporting business needs. Additionally, the mission of Robert Half's Global Women's Employee Network and its subsidiary Protiviti's Gender Equality in Technology and IT and Initiative for the Growth and Retention of Women are designed to champion and amplify women's perspectives in the workforce while creating networks, community, and growth opportunities for women across the globe.
